Red Shed is an Animal Welfare Education Series kicking off in December 2022.
Its aim is to teach children about:
-The basic welfare of animals
- The care needed for proper animal care
- The work carried out in animal rescue centres
We believe that by educating our young people around the care of animals that it will help them develop life-long positive relationships with our furry friends.
Our aim is global, starting local.
Red Shed is a social enterprise organisation set up by Sandy Sheerin.
It will be a portal for learning and education for children to help them understand about animal welfare, animal care and animal rescue.
It will act as a partner to animal welfare entities by supporting underfunded shelters across various economically marginalised communities.
- To create Red Sheds in areas where local communities can benefit from the care given to animals.
- To educate, inform and raise awareness to the general public on the work carried out in emergency rescue services for animals.
Red Shed Programs:
2022 - Online learning and educational platform.
2023 - 2025 - Build Red Sheds across various countries where turmoil has emerged and the livelihoods and survival of animals is at great risk.
